In 2025, I look back with gratitude on a special moment: on 1 January 2000, I gave up my secure job as a dental technician to become a cabaret artist. It was a difficult decision - we had three children, a new house and many unanswered questions. But my family, friends and my employer at the time, Dr Michael Banholzer, gave me the courage to take the plunge. "Go for it. If it doesn't work out, just come back."
This step changed my life. It all started in Rottweil with magic at the carnival, then at birthday parties, weddings and company celebrations. Comedy magic followed, and today I'm a storyteller who takes a humorous look at the little moments of everyday life.
For 13 years, my wife ran our office, looked after the children and looked after the house while I was travelling. Thank you for that, darling!
25 years on stage - with many great people and colleagues I've had the honour of getting to know. The stage is not just my profession, it's my vocation. The greatest thing is to make people laugh and forget their worries for a moment.
But none of this would have been possible without you, my audience. You have given me these 25 years - with your laughter and your loyalty. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for everything!
