The Central cinema was reopened in its current form in 2021 and extensively renovated. The listed building, which once served as the hospital's farm building, has been used as a cinema for almost 100 years. A hall that once held over 500 spectators has since been converted into three auditoriums with 140, 65 and 35 seats. All the halls offer appropriate comfort and there are also seats with sofas, comfortable armchairs and small tables. The film club room has chandeliers and a library on the back wall.
Our motto according to John Naisbitt: "You don't just go to the cinema to watch films. You go to the cinema to laugh and cry with people." We want to present our guests with a diverse and extensive range of films and promote sophisticated cinema. A varied programme for young and old is particularly important to us. Films that inspire us to dream and reflect, that whet our appetite for new things and invite us to get to know other perspectives.
