What a starting point, what a destination: from picturesque Heidelberg via the exciting Black Forest to the no less beautiful Lake Constance, this cycle path leads right through Baden-Württemberg, 300 kilometres from north to south.
The fourth stage is probably the most strenuous section of the Heidelberg-Black Forest-Lake Constance cycle route. From Horb am Neckar, the route first climbs up to the plateau landscape of the Obere Gäue with fantastic views of the Black Forest. Numerous villages conceal small cultural and historical treasures, such as rococo side altars in Bochingen or the Celtic silver ring in Trichtingen. Above the Neckar valley, the route continues to Rottweil, the oldest town in Baden-Württemberg.
