Our K5 DAV climbing centre is a joint effort.
WE, the DAV Oberer Neckar section, are part of the German Alpine Club and consist of the five regional mountaineering groups of Rottweil, Schramberg, Oberndorf, Spaichingen and Trossingen.
Together, we opened our K5 in February 2013 and have been running it ourselves ever since. Our very dedicated operations manager and his competent team of mini-jobbers ensure that everything runs smoothly, and they are supported by volunteer hall service teams on weekdays.
This gives our K5 its family charm and makes our climbing centre a relaxed meeting place for young and old.
The K5 is situated in a scenic location on the Albtrauf, in the middle of a sports centre. The Rottweiler outdoor pool and the Aquasol indoor pool are in the immediate vicinity. The Rottweil youth hostel is also within walking distance.
In our K5 climbing centre you can climb, boulder, drink coffee, chill out and, in good weather, play ball, slackline or barbecue on our large outdoor area.
